Fat, glucose and protein are among the three major nutrients required by the human body. It has been determined that 1 gram of fat can provide the body with 9.2 kcal of calories when completely burned. In addition, fat is also involved in the composition of cellular tissues, and many important chemical reactions involve fat; the presence of fat is indispensable for a healthy organism. In order to ensure normal metabolism, the human body must take in a certain amount of fat every day to supplement the energy consumed, so the fat in the human body is in a dynamic balance. The fat in normal human body is composed of the following parts, namely total cholesterol and triglycerides, which are mainly found in adipose tissue and blood. Fats in the blood are often present as free and lipoproteins and are maintained at a certain level of content. When, under the action of abnormal metabolic or pathogenic factors, the blood lipid level becomes too high and causes the corresponding disease process, it is called hyperlipidemia. Prevention and treatment of hyperlipidemia Hyperlipidemia, together with diabetes and fatty liver, was once considered a “modern urban disease”, which is caused by a combination of factors such as the mentalization of work, office automation, modernization of transportation, and imbalance of nutrition. Therefore, to treat the disease at the root, that is, to prevent and control at the source will be effective, the main points are as follows: 1, reasonable intake of calories to ensure nutritional balance Normal adults need 25-30 per day at rest, 30-35 for light physical work, 35-40 for moderate physical work, and more than 40 kilocalories/kg of body weight for heavy physical work. According to the calculation of 60 kg, they need 1500 to 1800, 1800 to 2100, 2100 to 2400 and 2400 kcal or more per day respectively. Therefore, we can estimate the calories we eat according to the above, and if we convert it into the proportion of nutrients, we should need 50-70 grams of protein and 40-60 grams of fat per day, which is about 1/3 of the daily calories, and the remaining 2/3 is to eat carbohydrate staple food (200-300 grams). In addition, supplemented with the right amount of fruits, vegetables, vitamins and trace elements, you can ensure the nutritional needs. For those with hyperlipidemia, daily calorie intake should be slightly lower than normal, and fat intake should be appropriately reduced (please refer to the appendix for specific calculations). 2.Establish a scientific lifestyle and actively participate in exercise For people who sit in offices for a long time or mainly use their brains, they should establish good living habits, rest regularly every day, wake up on time, eat regularly and quantitatively, and combine work and rest. Actively participate in physical exercise, especially advocate aerobic exercises like walking, jogging, swimming, bodybuilding, which can effectively consume excess body fat and can enhance physical fitness. 3, regular medical checkups to understand the state of the body Medical checkups are the best way to pay attention to health, regular medical checkups can understand the changes that occur in the body, and can target the early treatment of some diseases. The indicators related to hyperlipidemia and their clinical significance are shown in Exhibit 3 for readers’ reference during physical examination.
