Acute stroke is a clinical manifestation of rupture or obstruction of blood vessels supplying the brain. Once acute stroke occurs, it is necessary to quickly recognize and call the emergency number, and send the patient to the hospital for a short period of time. Nursing measures are as follows: 1. Judgement to confirm the diagnosis; 2. Closely observe the patient’s vital signs; 3. Prevent the condition from deteriorating: lie on the side to prevent aspiration; protect the teeth if convulsions occur to prevent tongue bites; keep the stools clear; 4. Rapidly set up an effective venous channel to give treatment; 5. Safe transportation: protect the patient’s limbs, spine, head and other parts of the body to prevent accidental injury.
