Severe collapsed nose and midface depression, also known as Binder’s syndrome, is a clinical syndrome in which dysplasia of the bony structures of the midface predominates.
The main clinical features are: 1) midface depression; 2) nasal hypoplasia and severe saddle nose; 3) maxillary hypoplasia; 4) anterior nasal ridge recession; 5) occlusal misalignment; 6) nasal column shortening.
The clinical features are midface depression and severe saddle nose. Treatment with autologous rib cartilage and bone filling is more effective.
