Gonorrhea in men takes a few days to fully heal

In general, men can fully recover from gonorrhea within a week, but the exact time needs to be further determined on an individual basis. Gonorrhea is a sexually transmitted disease with high incidence, short incubation period and high infectivity. Generally, if male patients can discover the presence of gonorrhea in time and go to the dermatological venereal disease department of a regular hospital for comprehensive treatment as soon as possible, they can usually be cured within a week. However, if the patient is in poor health, or if the incubation period is not detected in time, and if the preliminary treatment is not appropriate, it may develop into chronic gonorrhea, which may take 1-2 months to cure. In addition, patients need to be reviewed regularly after the end of treatment, and the cure can be judged by the disappearance of all relevant symptoms without a history of sexual contact and a negative pathogenicity test after one week. It is recommended that patients should pay attention to personal hygiene, be clean, eliminate high-risk sexual behavior, and go to a regular hospital STD department in time to find abnormalities, and regularly recheck after treatment, as well as pay attention to regular work and rest, and eat as light as possible.
