CT of tuberculosis and lung cancer can be differentiated from morphology, location and enhancement effect. 1. Morphology: tuberculosis is multifocal, mainly in the upper lobes, and the morphology of the lesion is patchy, and obvious calcification foci can be seen in longer lesions; whereas lung cancer is mostly isolated nodules or lumps, with irregular morphology, poorly smooth edges, and mainly manifested as spinous bumps and short burrs. 2. Location: tuberculosis usually exists in the apical posterior segment of upper lobe of both lungs; while lung cancer has central lung cancer and peripheral lung cancer, and the lung structure will have the possibility to be changed by lung cancer. 3. Enhancement effect: the enhancement of nodules of tuberculosis is not obvious, while the enhancement of nodules and masses of lung cancer is obvious. In conclusion, there are certain differences between CT images of tuberculosis and lung cancer, which can be used to make preliminary judgment of tuberculosis and lung cancer. However, it is still necessary to clarify which disease it is through pathologic examination and laboratory tests.
