What is the cause of the pain in the heart?

Hidden pain in the heart position can be categorized as physiological or pathological. Physiological reasons may be related to excessive fatigue, mental state; pathological reasons may be related to coronary heart disease, intercostal neuralgia, pleurisy and other diseases. If physiological reasons are excluded, it is recommended that the patient go to the hospital in time to clarify the cause of the disease. 1. Physiological: It is related to patients’ over-fatigue, staying up all night, or mental tension, depression, stimulation and so on. It can produce transient hidden pain in the heart position, and usually can be relieved by itself, without special treatment. 2. Pathologic: (1) Coronary heart disease: early no obvious symptoms, with the progress of the disease can appear chest pain, chest pressure, shortness of breath and other symptoms. Symptoms can be aggravated after strenuous exercise or heavy physical labor. (2) Intercostal neuralgia: Hidden pain in the heart position may be intercostal neuralgia around the heart. The pain may be tingling or burning pain. The pain is aggravated by coughing, deep breathing or sneezing. (3) Pleurisy: It may mainly manifest as fever, cough, sputum, chest pain, chest tightness and dyspnea. If the location of the heart is vaguely painful, it is recommended that the patient go to the hospital in time to clarify the cause of the disease.
