Inflammation of sebaceous cysts is often treated by body mass excision, which removes the entire sebaceous cyst including the cyst wall and determines whether to perform drainage depending on the degree of infection. Sebaceous cysts are cysts formed by sebaceous glands that are blocked in their excretion, resulting in the accumulation of sebum and epidermal keratinized material. They are prone to secondary infections and are associated with a foul odor, and are most common on the head, face, and back. If the infection is serious, it is necessary to give anti-infective treatment before body surface mass excision, commonly used drugs such as cefadroxil, note that the excision should include the cyst wall, otherwise it is easy to recur. If the sebaceous cyst inflammation and infection is more serious, the cyst has pus manifestation, it is necessary to excise the sebaceous cyst after drainage, and actively give anti-infection treatment, until the infection is controlled and then suture the incision. If sebaceous cysts are found to be inflamed, they should be treated early to avoid aggravation of the condition.
