Difference between anterior and posterior pelvic tilt

Anterior pelvic tilt and posterior pelvic tilt are different in the cause of formation, body shape, position and cause symptoms. 1. Anterior pelvic tilt: Generally, it is caused by long-term work at desk, wearing high heels, etc., which leads to anterior tilt of the ilium and posterior tilt of the pubic bone. The anterior superior iliac spine exceeds the pubic symphysis, the abdomen protrudes forward and the buttocks protrude backward, resulting in increased pressure on the lumbar vertebrae, and the patient often suffers from low back pain. 2. Posterior pelvic tilt: generally due to lumbar degenerative disease, deformed healing of fractures, ankylosing spondylitis and other causes of iliopsoas tilt, pubic bone anterior tilt. The pubic symphysis is located in the front, resulting in increased pressure on the thoracic vertebrae, which is prone to cause symptoms such as thoracic hunchback, pelvic deformity, pain, restricted movement and pelvic organs being squeezed. If anterior or posterior pelvic tilt occurs, you should consult a doctor and follow the doctor’s instructions for correction.
