It is composed of Astragalus, Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata, Radix Panax Ginseng, Radix Panax Ginseng, Cornu Cervi Pantotrichum, Rhizoma Dioscoreae, Gypsum, Rhizoma Coptidis, Rhizoma Dioscoreae, Poria, etc., which is effective in clearing away heat and generating fluids, benefiting qi and nourishing yin, and it can be used as adjunctive treatment for yin-deficient and dry-heat diabetes mellitus.
