Post-surgical treatment of appendicitis often requires infusion therapy after surgery due to low intake of food. Infusion therapy is mainly anti-infection and nutritional support therapy, antibiotics commonly used is cephalosporin antibiotics, regular cephalosporin antibiotics after surgery 2-3 bottles of infusion a day. Nutritional support infusion depends on how much the patient eats in a day, at least 2-5 bottles of 1000ml to 2000ml of fluid including various electrolytes need to be replenished, so the infusion is about 4-7 bottles in a day after surgery. As the amount of food increases nutritional infusion, it can be slowly reduced or even not used. Antibiotic infusion is 2-3 bottles a day, waiting for the infection to subside after the patient can be considered for discharge.
