Rhinitis is caused by a variety of reasons. Rhinitis accompanied by shortness of breath and wheezing, spontaneous sweating (involuntary sweating during the day, aggravated by the slightest movement), and fear of the wind is a deficiency of lung qi. Rhinitis accompanied by fatigue (mental exhaustion, physical weakness), lack of energy and laziness (lack of strength, not wanting to talk), and low food intake is a deficiency of Spleen Qi. Rhinitis is also called nasal abyss or nasal stifling in Chinese medicine terminology, with runny nose, nasal congestion as the main clinical manifestations, and in severe cases, it even manifests as not smelling the aroma and odor. Rhinitis is mainly characterized by lung qi deficiency, which can be accompanied by deficiencies in other organs: 1. Lung qi deficiency: nasal congestion, runny nose with shortness of breath and shortness of breath, spontaneous sweating, fear of wind and other symptoms, the treatment needs to tonify the lung qi. 2. Spleen qi deficiency: nasal congestion and runny nose are accompanied by fatigue, lack of breath and laziness, and low food intake; the treatment needs to take into account the need to tonify the spleen qi. 3. Kidney qi deficiency: nasal congestion and runny nose, accompanied by long and clear urine, lack of warmth in the limbs, and soreness in the waist and knees (a feeling of soreness and weakness in the waist and knees).
