How to rehabilitate limited dorsiflexion of the foot

Restricted dorsiflexion of the foot can be rehabilitated by lifting the leg in a seated position and hooking the toes and stretching the triceps muscles of the calf.
1. Seated leg raising and toe hooking: the patient sits on a chair, raises one leg to the same height as the chair, hooks the toe back and forth, and then changes legs. There is no interval during the whole process. Practice 4 groups each time, 15 times on each side.
2. Stretching calf triceps: single-legged knee brace, the other leg after a small step straight, and then bend down to reach the toes with both hands and move back until there is a pull or a slight sense of discomfort, keep the static stretching for 15 seconds, one side of the stretching finished according to the original action of the leg stretching the other side, each time the right and left calf stretching for 1 to 2 times.
In addition, patients can also carry out elastic band-assisted toe hooking exercises to further enhance the dorsiflexion function of the foot. It is recommended that patients under the guidance of a doctor to carry out rehabilitation exercises to alleviate the body damage caused by improper self-exercise.
