Can myeloma be maintained with only lenalidomide?

Myeloma generally refers to multiple myeloma, which cannot be maintained with lenalidomide alone. Lenalidomide is an immunomodulator, which can be used for the treatment of multiple myeloma with better efficacy and lower side effects, and is more widely used. However, multiple myeloma clinically requires a combination of chemotherapy with various drugs, such as bortezomib, lenalidomide and dexamethasone. Multiple myeloma is a malignant proliferative disease of bone marrow plasma cells, and the use of lenalidomide alone cannot maintain long-term remission. It is recommended that under the guidance of a physician, a suitable treatment plan be chosen for the disease, including combination chemotherapy and autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. All of the above medications should be used under the guidance of a physician, avoiding self-medication.
