What causes joint pain?

Joint pain may be caused by trauma, meniscus injury, gouty arthritis, tumor and so on. 1. Trauma: It can be due to external force collision of the joints or over-extension and distortion of the joints, causing damage to the joint bones, muscles, ligaments and other structures, resulting in joint dislocation or fracture, and then joint pain will occur. 2. Meniscus injury: When the knee joint is slightly bent, if the knee joint is suddenly extended due to excessive internal or external rotation, it may lead to meniscus tear. Meniscus injuries can lead to a noticeable tearing sensation in the knee joint, resulting in joint pain, limited mobility, and walking with a limp. 3. Gouty arthritis: It is associated with abnormal purine metabolism, elevated blood uric acid and deposition of urate crystals, leading to chronic inflammatory reaction and localized pain. The clinical manifestation of gouty arthritis is joint pain, which is characterized by asymmetric redness, swelling and pain in the joints, and the pain can occur with the progression of the disease. 4. Tumor: there may be tumors around the joints, malignant or benign tumors, and joint pain is more obvious in malignant tumors. Joint pain should go to the hospital in time, check the cause of the disease, and take targeted treatment or therapy under the guidance of the doctor.
