What are the benefits of hospitalization for tuberculosis patients

Tuberculosis hospitals are specialized hospitals for the treatment of tuberculosis. Some patients can be hospitalized and some patients can be treated without hospitalization. If all TB patients were hospitalized, the hospital would not be able to accommodate them. Therefore, only some TB patients can be hospitalized and most TB patients can be treated outside the hospital. The benefits of hospitalization for TB patients are as follows: 1. After hospitalization, the patient can make a systematic diagnosis and choose a reasonable treatment plan under the supervision of medical staff, which will lay a good foundation for future cure and recovery. 2.After hospitalization, patients can be relatively isolated from their families, friends, classmates and colleagues to reduce infection. 3.After hospitalization, the patient can receive systematic education on tuberculosis science and technology, so that the patient can form the habit of taking medicine regularly. 4.After hospitalization, patients can get sufficient rest and live a more regular life, which, together with some auxiliary treatment, is beneficial to their recovery. 5.For some serious patients, such as patients with high fever, breathing difficulty, hemoptysis, pneumothorax, massive pleural effusion, tuberculous meningitis, peritonitis and pulmonary heart disease, hospitalization is even more necessary.
