How the heart beats

The heart beats regularly in response to electrical activity.
1. The rhythmic beating of the heart is due to the fact that the heart itself has a special kind of myocardial fibers which have the capacity for auto-rhythmic excitation. The conduction system of the heart includes the sinoatrial node, the inter-nodal bundle, the atrioventricular node, the atrioventricular bundle, the right and left bundle branches and their branches and the Purkinje fibers, and the interior of the heart is divided into four chambers: the left and right atria and the left and right ventricles.
2. The sinus node in the conduction system is the normal pacing point of the heart, and the impulse electromyographic activity is formed in the sinus node, and then transmitted by the interjunctional channel and the common atrial muscle to the atrioventricular node and the left and right atria, and then accelerated by the atrioventricular bundle, and the bundle branches and the Pukenje fibers are extremely fast, which makes all the ventricular muscles excited almost simultaneously, and completes the cardiac cycle of a single heartbeat.
Patients with suspected heart disease should go to the hospital and follow the doctor’s instructions for the next step in their treatment plan.
