Non-keratinizing undifferentiated carcinoma is the description of the pathological findings and is a malignant tumor. Keratinization refers to the presence of stratified keratinized material, often called keratinized beads, primarily in the center of the love handles of malignant tumors of epithelial tissue. The presence of keratinized beads indicates that the tumor is better differentiated, and conversely, poorly differentiated and highly primitive. Tumor differentiation refers to the morphological and functional similarity between tumor tissue and normal tissue, and the degree of similarity is known as the degree of differentiation. A high degree of differentiation is associated with a high degree of similarity and a low degree of malignancy, and vice versa. To sum up, non-keratinizing undifferentiated carcinoma has a higher malignant degree, is prone to spreading and lymph node metastasis, has poorer therapeutic effect and shorter average survival time of patients, and needs to be treated as soon as it is detected.
