Taken together, Lanternwort, Ophiopogon and Radix et Rhizoma Ginseng have the effects of clearing heart fire, benefiting the qi and strengthening the spleen, and nourishing yin and generating fluids (strengthening the qi of the kidneys, making fluids plentiful).
Lanternwort has the effect of facilitating urination and clearing heart fire. It is suitable for astringent pain in urination, mouth and tongue sores, heartburn and insomnia. The adverse reactions and contraindications of this product are not clear.
Ophiopogon has the efficacy of nourishing yin and generating fluids, moistening the lung and clearing the heart. It is suitable for dry lung and dry cough, dry mouth and nose, fluid injury and thirst, heartburn and insomnia, and dry stools. The adverse reactions and contraindications of Maitake are not clear.
Tai Zi Shen has the efficacy of benefiting qi and strengthening the spleen, generating fluids and moisturizing the lungs. It is indicated for gastric yin deficiency (deficiency of yin fluid in the stomach), weak spleen qi (weakness of spleen qi), dry mouth and thirst, yin deficiency and lung dryness (deficiency of yin fluid in the body, resulting in dryness of the lungs not being nourished), and dry cough with little phlegm. The adverse reactions and contraindications of this product are not clear, and it should be used with caution for those who have solid evil but not deficiency of positive qi.
