Can liver fibrosis be cured?

Liver fibrosis can be cured in the early stages, while it is difficult to be cured in the middle and late stages. Any liver injury has the process of liver fibrosis in the process of liver repair and healing. Liver fibrosis is a pathophysiological process. In the early stage of liver fibrosis, most of the liver fibrosis can be recovered by treating the primary disease and removing the causative factors, such as anti-hepatitis B and C virus treatment, as well as anti-schistosomiasis treatment, alcohol cessation and other measures, and taking oral anti-liver fibrosis drugs under the guidance of a doctor. However, if it develops to the middle or late stage, causing liver function damage or even developing into cirrhosis, it is very unlikely to be cured. In addition, since the liver is closely related to emotions, poor mood, depression, anger and excitement can affect the function of the liver and accelerate the development of lesions. During the period of inflammatory activity, liver-protective anti-inflammatory treatment should be actively carried out and hospitalized if necessary to ensure that the inflammation is controlled in the shortest possible time to avoid the development of liver fibrosis. Do not use drugs blindly, as this may increase the burden on the liver and be detrimental to its recovery.
