What is alk-negative mesenchymal large cell lymphoma?

ALK-negative mesenchymal large cell lymphoma, a type of mesenchymal large cell lymphoma, accounts for about 20% of mesenchymal large cell lymphoma and is a relatively rare type. This type of lymphoma is more common in older people and is often clinically associated with enlarged lymph nodes in the neck, fever, lethargy, and night sweats. At the same time, this type of lymphoma is not sensitive to the effect of conventional chemotherapy, that is, it is less effective to common chemotherapeutic drugs, and the survival of patients is often shorter, compared with ALK-positive patients. For patients with ALK-negative mesenchymal large cell lymphoma, the commonly used chemotherapy regimens include also anthracycline-based chemotherapy drugs.
