Early Symptoms of AIDS Rash

The rash in the early stages of AIDS may be erythematous, papular and non-characteristic. AIDS, also known as Human Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome, is a systemic disease triggered by the infection of the organism with Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV). We categorize AIDS into acute phase, asymptomatic phase and AIDS. Acute phase is the first infection of HIV about 2 to 4 weeks, generally no more than 6 months, that is, the infection of the “early”, the symptoms of the upper respiratory tract infection is the most common manifestations. A small number of patients may have a red or reddish-brown rash on the skin surface of the neck, face and trunk, or a maculopapular or papular rash, which is not characteristic, and the majority of the patients’ rashes will get better on their own within 1 month after the onset of the disease. If HIV infection is suspected, it is necessary to seek timely medical treatment to improve clinical symptoms and improve the survival rate.
