Symptoms of yang qi deficiency and decline include lethargy or coma, incontinence, bruising of lips and mouth, pallor, weak respiration, coldness of limbs (cold limbs, even to the elbows and above the knees), profuse sweating, abdominal distension, yellowing of the body and eyes, incontinence of stools, and little or no urine, etc. The treatment is to benefit qi to restore yang and to save reversal of the trend and consolidate the loss of vital energy, and can be added with the addition of ginseng and Longmu Tang.
