Biological therapy Refers to the input of immune cells with anti-tumor activity into tumor patients to directly kill tumor or stimulate the body’s anti-tumor immune effect, so as to achieve the purpose of tumor treatment. The main effector cell is CIK cell, which is a new type of immune active cell with the following characteristics: (1) strong specificity: it has strong recognition ability to tumor cells and can precisely kill tumor cells without injuring normal cells; (2) strong proliferation ability, which can proliferate 1000 times in 1-2 weeks; (3) strong killing vitality; (4) wide anti-tumor spectrum, which is not restricted by MHC and has broad-spectrum tumor-killing effect and is still sensitive to drug-resistant tumor cells. It is still sensitive to drug-resistant tumor cells. It can prevent tumor recurrence and metastasis, improve patients’ survival quality and prolong their survival time. Indications for biologic therapy: 1. early stage tumor patients after surgery; 2. intermediate and late stage tumor patients after postoperative radiotherapy; 3. during radiotherapy or between chemotherapy; 4. advanced stage tumor patients who are not easily treated with radiotherapy; 5. no vital organ failure; no serious viral or bacterial infection; non-pregnancy and lactation. Contraindications to biologic therapy: 1. patients with severe autoimmune diseases; 2. organ transplant recipients; 3. cytokine allergy; 4. T-cell lymphoma
