Postoperative recurrence of gastric cancer can survive between 0.3-1 year, but it should be analyzed according to individual’s physique, condition, treatment plan and psychological state. Gastric cancer is caused by the appearance of cancer cells in the mucosal epithelial cells of stomach, and the most common one is adenocarcinoma, in which heredity, environment, diet, Helicobacter pylori infection and other factors may induce gastric cancer, which clinically manifests itself in symptoms such as fullness and discomfort, dyspepsia, pain in the epigastric region, nausea and so on, and it is mostly treated by surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy in the early stage. When abdominal recurrence occurs after gastric cancer surgery, the tumor is small, the mentality is good, and chemotherapy is more sensitive, the disease progresses slower, then the survival time is longer, up to 1 year; however, when the patient’s mental state is not good, the disease develops more rapidly, and he is not sensitive to radiotherapy, then there may be a situation of survival of 1-3 months. It is recommended to keep a good mindset in normal life and actively cooperate with doctors for treatment.
