Is vague pain in the liver area liver cancer?

Apart from liver cancer, other benign lesions of liver such as nodular hyperplasia and cysts can also cause pain in liver area. It is impossible to diagnose hepatocellular carcinoma with only one symptom, and the symptom of hepatic pain is only a signal of localized lesion in the liver. Liver cancer will not only manifest as pain in the liver area, but most primary liver cancer patients will also have symptoms such as loss of body weight, loss of appetite, abdominal distension and fever, while secondary liver cancer will manifest as pain in the liver area and other liver symptoms only after the tumor has increased in size. For hepatobiliary examination, we usually use morning fasting ultrasound for initial screening and fasting liver function test to check whether there is abnormal liver function. The two aspects of the examination are different, and both have a better initial diagnostic value for liver lesions. In addition, if there is no hepatobiliary disease but only symptomatic manifestations should also be noted for the influence of neuralgic factors such as lower lung lesions or herpes zoster. There are many diseases that cause vague pain in the liver area, and it is important to seek timely diagnosis through laboratory tests as well as ultrasound and other imaging tests.
