Right vocal cord paralysis requires different treatments according to different causes, common treatments include medication and surgery, and the treatment effect varies from person to person. 1. For vocal cord paralysis caused by laryngeal motor nerve paralysis due to metastasis of thyroid, esophageal and cranio-cerebral tumors, chemotherapeutic drugs such as cisplatin, cyclophosphamide and methotrexate can be used, which are mainly used to inhibit the proliferation of cells and alleviate the pressure on the nerves. 2. For paralysis of the superior laryngeal nerve and the recurrent laryngeal nerve caused by bacterial and viral infections, antibiotics such as penicillin and antiviral drugs such as entecavir, ganciclovir and acyclovir can be used to control the infections and to reduce the symptoms of local oedema, so as to improve the damaging effect on the nerves. 3. For vocal cord paralysis caused by primary tumor and secondary metastatic tumor in the cervical and laryngeal region compressing the nerves, tumor resection should be carried out for the primary lesion and related lymph nodes should be cleared. If the right vocal cord paralysis is diagnosed, the patient should consult a doctor for a clear diagnosis and cause of the disease, and take medication and treatment under the doctor’s guidance.
