Burning sensation in the stomach does not necessarily mean that it is stomach cancer. The occurrence of burning sensation in the stomach needs to be combined with other symptoms and gastroscopy to make a clear diagnosis. Burning sensation in the stomach can be caused by various conditions, such as acid reflux, heartburn, peptic ulcer, etc. Especially in patients with gastric ulcer, significant pain and burning sensation in the upper abdomen may occur after eating. Alkaline reflux gastritis caused by bile reflux can also cause significant burning sensation in the stomach. In addition, patients with early gastric cancer may also experience symptoms similar to gastritis, such as burning sensation in the stomach, and as the disease progresses, patients may experience loss of appetite, weight loss, anemia, black stool, etc. On examination, abdominal masses may be palpated with local pressure pain. If an ulcerative or bulging lesion is demonstrated on gastroscopy, surgical treatment is required. It is important to note that patients should not take drugs to suppress stomach acid or protect the gastric mucosa to relieve symptoms before the disease is diagnosed, so as not to delay the disease.
