Bone Scan Precautions

Bone scan precautions are as follows: 1, recent GI imaging, enhanced CT, enhanced MRI may affect bone imaging; 2, the day of the bone scan does not require fasting; 3, try to drink more water within 2 hours after the injection of radioactive drugs to facilitate the absorption of radionuclides; 2 hours after the injection can resume normal drinking status, and can eat normally at noon; 4, avoid urine staining underwear when urinating, if stained, then replace the new underwear; 5, during the scan, remove heavy metals from the body in advance to avoid affecting the examination; 6, after the bone scan examination try to drink more water to speed up the excretion of radioactive drugs.
