There are five main categories of drugs for controlling blood pressure: i. Calcium antagonists, mainly represented by nifedipine controlled-release tablets for patients with stable angina pectoris and cerebrovascular disease. ii. Second, angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors, representative drugs are Benadryl, Captopril, for patients with cardiac insufficiency, coronary heart disease. Third, angiotensin II receptor antagonist, representative drugs are valsartan, candesartan, for diabetes mellitus, proteinuria hypertension patients. Fourth, diuretics, suitable for patients with water and sodium retention. V. β-blockers, represented by betalactam, are suitable for patients with hypertension combined with fast heart rate.
