There are several types of vulvovaginitis

Vulvovaginitis is generally categorized into non-specific vulvovaginitis, vestibulitis, vulvovaginal pseudomycosis, and infantile vulvovaginitis, among other clinical diseases.

Vulvovaginitis is one of the common gynecological diseases, which is generally caused by inflammation of vulvar mucosa and skin due to various undesirable stimuli and pathogen infections.

1. Non-specific vulvovaginitis: clinically known as simple vulvovaginitis, usually due to chemical, physical and other non-pathogenic causes of vulvar mucosal and skin inflammation.

2. Vestibulitis: usually caused by pathogens invading the vestibular gland.

3. Vulvovaginal pseudomycosis: Inflammation of the vulva and vagina caused by infection of the vulva with pseudomycosis.

4. Infantile vulvovaginitis: because of the low immunity of infants, thin vulvar mucosa and low estrogen level, it is easier to be infected with pathogens and cause vulvovaginitis.

When vulvovaginitis occurs, it is recommended that patients go to the hospital for examination in time to find out the cause of the disease, and then according to the cause of the symptomatic treatment, so as not to delay the treatment.
