There are three main types of spinal deformities: First, idiopathic scoliosis, which is related to the causes of long-time poor posture, such as frequent bending and hunching during the growth and development period of the body. Second, congenital scoliosis, mainly due to congenital abnormalities in the growth and development of localized structures, resulting in neurological dysfunction or organ function damage. Third, neuromuscular scoliosis, such as cerebral palsy, can lead to neuromuscular abnormalities, such as muscle atrophy in the later stages of motor dysfunction. Different spinal deformities will have different treatment plans, such as correction by wearing orthotics and surgery, which can be combined with sports rehabilitation to restore local functions.
