Causes of colon cancer

There may be various triggers of colon cancer, high-fat and low-fiber diet, inflammation of colon, adenoma of colon and genetic factors, schistosomiasis, pelvic radiation, environmental factors and smoking.

1. High fat will increase the secretion of bile and low fiber diet, which can make the metabolites of cholesterol and bile acids in food pass through the intestinal tract at a slower speed and increase the triggering of intestinal tumors.

2. Inflammation of the large intestine: chronic ulcerative colitis has a high risk of colorectal cancer, and hemorrhagic ulcerative colorectitis has a greater risk of mutation.

3. Close relationship between colorectal adenoma and colorectal cancer, there is a possibility of malignant transformation of colorectal adenoma.

4. Genetic factors: familial colonic polyadenomatosis and colonic polyps have the possibility of malignant transformation.

5. Schistosomiasis, pelvic radiation, environmental factors and smoking may be the causative factors of colon cancer.

If there is gastrointestinal discomfort, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time for diagnosis and treatment.
