Is having a period a detox?

Menstruation is not a detoxification process. Menstruation is a normal physiological phenomenon in women that results from the shedding and bleeding of the endometrium along with the cyclical changes in ovarian hormone levels. Menstrual blood consists of endometrial debris, cervical mucus, and shed vaginal epithelial cells, all of which are normal tissue components in the body and therefore not detoxifying. After a woman has her period, it means that her reproductive function has basically matured. If a woman has regular menstruation, it means that her ovaries are functioning normally, which is a basic requirement for maintaining female reproductive function. The normal menstrual cycle is once a month, between 21-35 days is the normal range. Normal people also do not need to detoxify, the body will be metabolized every day, the metabolic process is the normal physiological consumption process.
