How to do when the bone is broken

If the bone is broken, the following treatment measures can be taken: 1. First of all, brake rest should be taken. Generally, the doctor will use traction or plaster to fix the limb and ask the patient to rest in bed. 2. In this case, surgery is required as soon as possible for internal fixation. If there is an open wound, i.e. an open fracture, emergency surgery is required to perform surgical incision and internal fixation of the fracture site, and bone grafting may be required if there is a bone defect; if it is a closed fracture, a period of anti-inflammatory, anti-swelling and pain-relieving medication is required for this condition, and then surgical incision and internal fixation will be done after about a week. 3. After surgery, patients need to be treated with anti-inflammatory, anti-swelling, pain-relieving, anti-infective, and fracture-healing medications. Finally, patients with such fractures should return to the orthopedic department for regular follow-up examinations after discharge to clarify the healing of the fracture and ask the doctor to guide the corresponding functional exercises.
