How long can you live after lung cancer surgery?

Lung cancer is a malignant tumor. The prognosis of lung cancer is related to the early stage of the disease, pathological type, surgery and postoperative condition, and requires consideration of comprehensive factors, not a single factor, which makes it difficult to assess the overall prognosis survival rate. For early-stage lung cancer, especially early microscopic lung cancer, the five-year survival rate through surgery is over 98%, which basically can achieve clinical cure. However, the proportion of lung cancer found to be early stage in China is relatively small, because overall, the five-year survival rate of lung cancer treated by surgery is about 30%.
