Rehabilitation training for shoulder subluxation can be divided into two stages: immobilization period and recovery period.
1. Fixation period: After the shoulder joint is dislocated, it needs to be fixed with bandage or support. In this period, the elbow, wrist, finger flexion and extension training and the resistance training of the surrounding muscles can be carried out to prevent muscle atrophy and joint contracture. At the same time, the shoulder muscles such as deltoid muscle isometric contraction exercises can be carried out.
2. Recovery period: after removing the shoulder immobilization, shoulder joint activity exercises, muscle strength training and shoulder joint stability training can be carried out.
(1) Shoulder joint activity exercises: gymnastic rods, pulleys and other tools can be used for auxiliary activities; swinging, wall climbing and active activities in all directions can also be carried out; joint loosening can be carried out for patients with limited shoulder activities.
(2) Muscle strength training: mainly for the stabilizing muscle groups around the shoulder. Dumbbell resistance shoulder abduction, forward flexion and backward extension; shoulder flexion 90° elbow flexion 90° position dumbbell resistance shoulder internal and external rotation training can be done.
(3) Shoulder joint stability training: push-ups on the wall, push-ups on the shoulder in the bent knee position, sliding on the wall, etc. Balance pads, Bobath ball and other tools can be used to provide an unstable plane to increase the difficulty of training.
It is recommended that patients with shoulder subluxation should consult a doctor in time and carry out scientific rehabilitation training under the guidance of a professional doctor, avoiding blind training on their own to avoid adverse consequences.
