Symptoms of biliary tract spasm

The biliary tract is a digestive organ, and in response to different digestive fluid stimuli, biliary tract pathology may cause biliary tract spasm, and after biliary tract spasm, patients may have some digestive symptoms such as abdominal pain, dyspepsia, abdominal distention, acid reflux and diarrhea. Depending on the cause of biliary spasm and the degree of biliary spasm, patients may have different symptoms. If the cause is considered to be caused by pathological factors, such as gallstones, biliary obstruction, or biliary tract infection, the symptoms of biliary spasm are produced and usually get progressively worse, causing significant discomfort, abdominal pain, abdominal distention, and even jaundice. If the biliary tract spasm is caused by physiological causes, including the consumption of cold, acidic or hot foods as well as irregular eating and overeating, it can also cause biliary tract spasm, which is usually transient and the patient’s symptoms can be relieved soon after eliminating the cause.
