The life expectancy of patients with hypertension combined with stroke is not conclusive. Most studies have proven that with good medication and rehabilitation exercises at home, life expectancy is more than 10-20 years. Patients with hypertension combined with stroke are divided into hemorrhagic stroke and ischemic stroke. If hypertension is combined with hemorrhagic stroke, the usual treatment is strictly forbidden to take antiplatelet drugs, and should take antihypertensive drugs and lipid regulating and stabilizing statin drugs. If hypertension combined with ischemic stroke, that is, hypertension combined with cerebral infarction, such patients in ordinary life, in addition to antihypertensive drugs and statins, should also take antiplatelet drugs.
