Nausea and vomiting in the morning may be caused by chronic gastritis, chronic pharyngitis, rhinitis and other pathologic causes, as well as some physiologic causes such as pregnancy.
1. Physiological.
(1) pregnancy: during early pregnancy, pregnant women will have the reaction of vomiting, and nausea and vomiting will be more obvious in the morning.
(2) Menstruation: Some women will experience nausea before menstruation, but if it is not frequent, don’t worry too much. Before menstruation, relax your body and mind, eat some warm food, and pay attention to keeping your waist and abdomen warm.
2. Pathologic:
(1) Chronic gastritis: vomiting and regurgitation caused by inflammatory stimulation of the gastric mucosa.
(2) chronic pharyngitis: early morning nausea and regurgitation is one of the symptoms of chronic pharyngitis. Chronic pharyngolaryngitis is a diffuse pharyngeal lesion caused by chronic infection, mostly occurring in adults, often accompanied by other upper respiratory tract diseases.
(3) Rhinitis: In the morning, the purulent and viscous secretions of rhinitis flow back into the mouth, sometimes causing nausea, which is most obvious when brushing teeth.
If you experience nausea and vomiting in the morning for a long period of time, it is advisable to seek medical assistance from a doctor to find out the cause and cooperate with the doctor for treatment.
