Difference between Ba Wei Ren Qi Wan and Gui Fu Di Huang Wan

Gui Fu Di Huang Wan should not be used if the dryness of the throat and mouth, red tongue with little moss, kidney yin insufficiency, deficiency fire inflammation and kidney yang deficiency with normal urination. They are similar in composition, so both have the effect of warming and tonifying kidney yang, and can be used to treat the discomfort caused by kidney yang deficiency, but because the Eight-flavored Kidney Energy Pill contains Schisandra chinensis, which is more inclined to astringency (astringent consolidation), and the Gui Fu Di Huang Wan contains Cornu Cervi Pavilion, which is more inclined to benefiting the qi.
