How do you know if you’re ovulating?

Ultrasound is the most accurate way to determine ovulation, but it can also be aided by the nature of the leukorrhea and basal body temperature.
1. Ultrasonography: If you can see the follicle development, size and discharge under ultrasonography, you can be sure that you are in the ovulation period.
2. The nature of the leucorrhoea: vaginal secretions increase during ovulation, and the state is like egg white, is transparent and elastic. You can go to the hospital to test the cervical mucus, which can help determine whether you are in the ovulation period.
3. Basal body temperature: Ovulation body temperature is affected by hormones, on the day of ovulation, the basal body temperature will decrease. Record the temperature of the menstrual cycle and make a temperature chart. If there is ovulation there will be a drop in body temperature and then a rise of 0.3~0.5℃. If the basal body temperature shows a unidirectional curve, it is usually not ovulation.
In addition, electronic ovulation detection pens and menstrual period projection methods can also be used to assist in determining ovulation, but ultrasound testing is by far the more accurate way. For specific cases, it is recommended to consult a medical professional.
