Sequential immunization with the new crown vaccine is the selection of a new crown vaccine of a different technical route from that of basic immunization at the time of booster vaccination with the new crown vaccine.
At present, the majority of the population in China has already completed the basic immunization with the new crown vaccine, which consists of three kinds of new crown vaccines, namely, inactivated vaccine, adenovirus vector vaccine, and recombinant subunit vaccine. Sequential immunization with the new crown vaccine is based on the basic immunization, and a booster shot of the new crown vaccine of a different technical route is selected to complete the vaccination.
Since inactivated vaccine, adenovirus carrier vaccine and recombinant subunit vaccine have different principles of action, the immunity of the human body against the new coronavirus can be enhanced by sequential vaccination with the new coronavirus vaccines of different technologies. Sequential immunization provides better protection against the constantly mutating neocoronaviruses.
Active vaccination is recommended wherever possible.
