What is Crohn’s disease?

Young people between the ages of 15-35 are at high risk, and nine times out of ten, intestinal obstruction is found at a young age because of Crohn’s disease. Crohn’s disease causes the intestines to become increasingly rotten, forming scars that narrow the intestines, and intestinal obstruction occurs when it progresses to a certain point. Removing the obstruction can temporarily relieve the condition, but if Crohn’s disease is not controlled, the intestine will rot and become obstructed again, and the intestine will become shorter and shorter. How can Crohn’s disease be detected early? It can be detected by simply doing a colonoscopy. Many people have never had a colonoscopy and pay too little attention to their intestinal health. Gastro and colonoscopy is like a flashlight shining through the tunnels and can detect many large and small gastrointestinal diseases. He suggested that people who have a family history, who have had enteritis infections that are not cured, who have anal fistulas, perianal pus, chronic belly pain, and who have snot-like mucus or blood in their stools, should have a colonoscopy to screen them. For the general population, more than 40 years old should check a colonoscopy, after the first year of investigation no intestinal problems, after four or five years to check a second time; if the first year of detection of the problem, then timely treatment, the second year also review.
