The mortality rate for surgery for extra severe craniocerebral injuries is about 50%. If surgery is not performed in a timely manner, the mortality rate is almost 100%. Often caused by car accidents, falls or blows, extra severe craniocerebral injuries can result in severe cerebral contusions, cerebral hematomas and other craniocerebral injuries. The patient’s condition is critical and deteriorates rapidly, and he/she may lose his/her life in a very short period of time. Extra-heavy craniocerebral injury has a short rescue time, very difficult treatment, high surgical risk, and a high rate of post-surgical complications. The mortality rate of the patient’s surgery can be up to about 50%, and if the surgery cannot be performed in time, the mortality rate is almost 100%. Therefore, once there is a special heavy craniocerebral injury, we should immediately go to the regular hospital for medical treatment, timely diagnosis and rescue, in order to maximize the life-saving.
