Zinc oxide ointment is hormone-free. The main ingredient of this medicine is zinc oxide, and its use is usually indicated for acute exudative skin reactions, or chronic epidermal eruptions and symptoms of exudative reactions. Since zinc oxide ointment is non-hormonal, it can be used on a large scale for a long period of time. If the skin is no longer oozing or vesicular, zinc oxide ointment should not be used. If the cream is used on normal skin, it may cause dryness of the skin, which is not conducive to skin recovery.
