What does it mean to be circumcised for pathologic analysis?

The foreskin is removed for pathologic analysis, which is a pathologic examination of the removed foreskin to find out if there are any cancerous lesions in the foreskin tissues, among other things.
Pathologic examination of the foreskin is usually required for foreskin-related diseases after the foreskin has been removed. Pathologic examination can understand the condition of the cells of the foreskin tissue, the presence of cell mutation or other abnormalities, timely detection of problems and early intervention.
Pathological analysis is an examination tool, which is applied more in the clinic, and is usually performed on the resected tissues after surgery. There are also some highly suspected cancerous lesions during the surgery, which need to undergo intraoperative rapid frozen pathology, with the purpose of knowing whether the affected area has been cancerous or not during the surgery, and guiding the scope of surgical resection.
If the patient is not feeling well, he/she needs to consult the doctor for examination and early treatment.
