Can you remove the cast in a month?

Whether the cast can be removed in one month mainly depends on what disease is being treated. There are relatively more diseases that are immobilized with casts. If a tendon rupture is surgically sutured and then immobilized with casts, the casts can be removed after one month and the patient can do functional exercises for the joints. If the cast is immobilized on a fracture and the patient is an adult, the cast cannot be removed in one month. It takes at least one and a half months for the fracture to heal, and if the fracture heals slowly, the cast cannot be removed for one and a half months. If the cast is immobilized for vascular and nerve damage, it can be removed in one month, and if it is removed, the patient can do functional exercises for the joint.
