How to Calculate Standard Weight

Standard weight can be calculated using the formula for BMI and the normal BMI value, standard weight = 18.5 x height² to 23.9 x height² (weight in kg; height in m).
Body Mass Index BMI is an indicator used to describe the body shape of the human body, the formula is: BMI = weight ÷ height ², weight in kg, height in meters.
Chinese adults, the standard BMI value is probably between 18.5 and 23.9, when the BMI is less than 18.5, for the small weight, thin body type, the need for supplementary nutrition, when ≥ 24, for overweight, the need for appropriate weight loss, when ≥ 28 for obesity, the need for active weight loss.
According to the inverse BMI formula, and substituting the normal value of BMI and their own height value, you can calculate the standard weight.
