Success rate of intracranial aneurysm surgery

An intracranial aneurysm is a structural abnormality in the wall of a blood vessel that usually requires surgical intervention. However, there are still some risks involved in doing the surgery, and the success rate of doing the surgery is more than 85%. It depends on the size of the aneurysm on the one hand and the location of the aneurysm on the other. If the aneurysm is large and grows in an important location, the risk is very high. If this is the case, the success rate of surgery is 60-70%. If the intracranial aneurysm is relatively small and grows in a location that is not too important for the central body, the success rate after surgery is higher. Regardless of the success rate, intracranial aneurysms can only be cured by surgical treatment; there is nothing else that can be done.
