Color of endometrial exfoliation discharge

If the endometrial lining is exfoliated, most commonly during menstruation, it is the shedding of the endometrium that causes the vaginal bleeding. If the endometrium is discharged when it is shed, this color is observed clinically to be pink. In addition, if it is in the presence of membranous menstruation, for example, because of inflammation of the endometrium or because of excessive activity of the endometrium, a large area of endometrium is shed during menstruation, often accompanied by symptoms of dysmenorrhea, this endometrium is also pink, but relatively large in area, and is called membranous menstruation. Therefore, if a large area of endometrium is shed, it often causes severe dysmenorrhea, and it is recommended that oral treatment with Blood Mansions and Stasis Capsules be given.
